Certified Incentive Travel Professional (CITP) Certification
Get certified! SITE Thailand is happy to announce that the Certified Incentive Travel Planner (CITP) examination will be held in Bangkok on Monday, 4 October 2021.
SITE Members
The certification exam is subsidized by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) at the special discounted price of Baht 1,000 per person (full cost is US$ 675) for SITE members and includes a half-day Boot Camp on 24 September 2021 to help applicants prepare for the exam.
Examination seats are limited and is being offered on a first-come-first-served basis. Rush your application by the Early Bird Deadline to ensure your examination seat. Early Bird Deadline: 17 July 2021.
Non-Members
The certification exam is open to everyone in the Meetings & Incentives industry. Non-member application fee is Baht 5,500 per person (full cost US$895) for non-SITE members (Early Bird rate) and includes one half-day Boot Camp to prepare for the exam as well as free SITE membership due to subsidization from TCEB. To qualify for this Early Bird price, non-members need to register by 16 July 2021.
Past the Early Bird deadline, the certification exam fee will be charged at Baht 11,000 per person. Please note that examination seats are limited therefore we would like interested persons to submit their application as soon as possible.
Final Registration Deadline: 30 July 2021.
Eligibility and Registration Process
To qualify for the CITP exam, you must have been employed in the incentive travel profession for at least 12 consecutive months in the last 24 months and have a total of five years' experience in the incentive travel industry OR three years' experience and the CIS designation. You are not required to have the CIS in order to take the CITP.
